South Staffordshire Railway Walk
A traffic-free path for walkers, runners and cyclists along the old Wombourne branch line of the Great Western Railway. Passenger trains ran only from 1925 to 1932, and one of the stops was Penn Halt. The walk opened in 1974 and runs from Castlecroft to Wombourne, and it links north to the Smestow Valley reserve.
