Bantock Park (nearby)

A district park of about 16 hectares, left to the council in 1938 by Alderman Albert Bantock. The east side has restored formal gardens and the west side has open space, hedgerows and woodland trails. There is a children's play area, a tea room and Bantock House Museum. It is just north of Penn in Finchfield/Merridale.
